Wild Horses were an English hard rock ensemble from London active between 1978 and 1981. The group was established by the musicians Jimmy Bain and Brian Robertson. Their recording career began with the single “Criminal Tendencies” (1979) released through EMI. They achieved professional recognition for the debut studio recording Wild Horses (1980), which is also known as The First Album. The recording featured guest appearances by Phil Lynott and Scott Gorham and reached number 38 on the charts. Their discography includes the tracks “Face Down” (1980) and “Flyaway” (1980). In 1981, they released the studio recording Stand Your Ground, which was produced by Kit Woolven. After conducting tours with artists including Rush and Ted Nugent, the ensemble became inactive in 1981.
