Cougars

Cougars is an American rock band from Chicago that formed in 2000. The ensemble achieved early professional momentum after signing with Go-Kart Records and releasing their debut studio album, Nice, Nice (2003), followed by the EP Manhandler (2004). Their discography includes the studio recording Pillow Talk (2006). Following the departure of the guitarist Brett Meingasner in 2022, the group reconstituted as a five-piece featuring Bryan Bienias on guitar and Fred Popolo on bass. Other members include the vocalist Matt Irie, the guitarist John McClurg, and the drummer Brian Wnukowski. Their later work includes the studio album Cougs (2023).
