DRAKExTAYLOR (Drake Taylor) is a powerhouse (writing and producing since age 14 and performing since age 3) and a threat to music as we know it today. In 2020, he released his first demo mixtape, HyperWRLD (2020), started at age 14, noted for its vivid sonic atmosphere, and drawing comparison to works by industry innovators Imogen Heap and Björk. A year later, he released Lost and Found - Digital Anarchy Remix (2021), ending the Rrebel era early, due to artistic evolution. Roadie Music describes Rrebel as "a bold proposal to rescue the Electropop Hits from the late '00s and early '10s that changed music as we see it today." In Summer of 2021 he began releasing singles, slowly transitioning from Indie Teen Pop Creator to Mature R&B/Pop Innovator, frequently blending Hyperpop/PC Music with R&B and Pop music. He has teamed with various artists such as Slim Spitta on Aaliyah inspired That Way (That's It) and RYL0 on ear-scraping Business. He cites various influences, such as Gwen Stefani, 6LACK, ZAYN, Aaliyah, Tinashe, The Weeknd, and 24kGoldn. He frequently utilizes the Y2K/Vaporwave aesthetic in his visuals. He uses genre blending, a technique used by a new generation of artists, describing his genre simply as "Commercial" consisting mainly of Pop, R&B, and Hyper-Pop. He has been featured by many outlets, such as Dummy Mag, FENIX 360, VideoCity TV, Roadie Music, Sparky.wtf, KCUR, RadioandMusic (Blog), Phoenix FM, Emkay, Elementia, Fox 4, and more.
