No Guidance stands for punk rock the way it felt in the ’90s: melodic, direct, and honest. Their songs evoke warm summer days spent on a skateboard, worn-out sneakers, and that kind of music that sticks with you when everything feels overwhelming — and full of possibility at the same time. The band’s lyrics are rooted in personal stories, attitude, and the space between youth, growing up, and reality. The band tells these stories from their own perspective — relatable, sometimes angry, sometimes hopeful, but always with the intention of having something to say. Formed in 2019, the band has steadily built a reputation as a powerful and energetic live act through numerous club shows and appearances at several festivals. Following their debut album Fireworks for Arsonists (2021; MelodicPunkStyle; Punk & Disorderly Records), which quickly found its place in the underground skatepunk scene, No Guidance took the next step with their second album Late to the Party , released in fall 2024 via Canadian label Thousand Island Records.
