Palmyra Delran is an American rock and roll musician and producer born in Princeton, New Jersey. In 1988, she formed Pink Slip Daddy, releasing several records before the group entered a hiatus in 1993. Delran founded the rock band The Friggs in 1991, which toured for a decade until pausing activity in 2001. Her solo career began with the 2008 EP She Digs the Ride. Its single, “Baby Should Have Known Better”, was voted Coolest Song in the World for 2008 by listeners of Little Steven’s Underground Garage. Her first full-length album, You Are What You Absorb, appeared in 2013 and featured the single “You’re My Brian Jones”. In 2014, she collaborated with Kim Shattuck on the single “Run Now Baby”. Delran co-founded the supergroup The Coolies in 2019 and became a radio host for SiriusXM.
