The Melting Minds is a musical group based on experiments of imagination. Founded by Slinky Bones based on initiation of his long-term friend, Dhandy Satria (a.k.a Aamaga) through a long distance connection between two major cities in Indonesia: Jakarta and Yogyakarta. Slinky Bones invited some friends with the same concern to work on the album idea based on his alter-ego.
The Melting Minds was created from their fractal-chaotic and sonic-synergies in apocalyptic mid-year of 2020, the line up consisted of vocalist/guitarist Slinky Bones, guitarist Ahmad Tubagus, multi-instrumentalist Dhandy Satria, bassist Marcell Yoga, synthetizer player/singer Yafet Yerubyan, and dual drummer Christian Gratia and Wawa Kzk.
Through their own independent record label Boneless Records, they released their very first two single “The Snake” and "Possessing The Witch" based on Javanese Mythology mixed with Ancient-Greek Mythology concept and combined by the influence of 60s-70s wave of pscyhedelic rock music yet experimental with some “chaos and order” attitude that make the band sounds different from the most independent band in Yogyakarta.
