Jason “Tenroc” Cornet is a Christian artist, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Queens, New York. A self-taught musician, he began playing drums, guitar, bass, and keys at an early age and started producing as a child after learning Logic Pro. Before stepping forward as a lead artist, Tenroc built his name behind the boards, with credits linked to artists including Jon Batiste, Tori Kelly, Rihanna, the Jonas Brothers, Julia Michaels, and Jon Bellion. His production work earned him two Grammy nominations at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, for Jon Batiste’s World Music Radio in Album of the Year and “Worship” in Record of the Year. Tenroc began releasing music under his own name with “Beauty Queen” in 2023, then moved into faith-centered pop with 2025 singles such as “God Like That” and “everything” with Aaron Cole and Leeland. In 2026, he released “playlist” and “mourning 2 dancing” with Tori Kelly and Jon Keith, ahead of his debut album God Is A Person, scheduled for 2026 through Provident Label Group under exclusive license from Baglavelle Inc./Jason Cornet. The project also includes “call My name (YHWH)” and frames Tenroc’s producer background through Christian pop, R&B, hip-hop, worship, and melodic electronic production. Also in 2026, Tenroc reunited with Aaron Cole on “usher in the spirit,” a gospel-leaning single built from a mashup of the worship song “Revelation 19:1” and Usher’s “You Make Me Wanna….”
