Testeagles, an Australian three-piece rock band, was formed in Adelaide, South Australia in 1994. The trio consisted of brothers Matthew Matt on lead guitar and lead vocals, Adrian Matt on drums, and Dean Lawn on bass guitar. Their first extended play, Chum, was released in 1995 under the independent label DEF Records. In 1998, they issued two EPs, B-Sting and Friends. Bassist Dave Paisawa replaced Lawn later that year. Testeagles signed with Epic/Sony in July 1999 and released their first single "Turn That Shit Up", followed by "Underdog" and "Like No Other". Their debut album, Non Comprehendus, was released in February 2000 and peaked at Number 8 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The band performed regularly at the Big Day Out festivals and supported Mammal at the Hi-Fi Bar in Melbourne on June 21, 2008. In 2025, the band had an Australian tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Non-Comprehendus, with a vinyl reissue of the album by Rare Records.
