Christian Akridge, born May 1, 2000 in Wichita Falls, Texas, is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Raised in a religious family, Akridge began his musical journey as a church bassist. Before focusing on music, he gained popularity on the short video app Vine, amassing over 800,000 followers and touring with the event PressPlay. Akridge released his debut EP Hope on July 1, 2016, which debuted at number 48 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart. Following the discontinuation of Vine, he started posting covers on YouTube, leading to the self-release of his album Heartbreak Room on January 30, 2018. Akridge signed with Warner Records and Godmode in 2018, releasing several singles and EPs, including "Never" and Trilogy. Notable releases include the EP Heavy Hitting Hurts My Head (February 12, 2021) and Days Like Lost Dogs (October 29, 2021), which featured a music video of the same name.
