Alice Mae, originally named Alexia, grew up sneaking her parents’ CDs to immerse herself in classic alternative rock. Inspired by legendary bands like Oasis, The Rolling Stones, and U2, she vowed to create authentic, no-nonsense rock music infused with a female perspective in a predominantly male scene. Now, years later, she’s fulfilling that promise.
She writes to make sense of her messy mind, conveying her thoughts into lyrics, in the hope that they might make sense at the end. With her raw voice, passion for music, and vibrant personality, she promises to be an artist who not only touches the heart but also uplifts the spirit.
2025 was a big year for Alice Mae. After winning De Nieuwe Lichting by Studio Brussel, her singles Better Ways and Some Girls both reached the top in De Afrekening at #1 and #3. In de summer of 2025 she travelled through Belgium and The Netherlands with her succesful 'Some Girl Summer tour', stopping at 30 festivals and venues. Alice Mae continues her joy in 2026, releasing more music and playing a sold-out show in Ancienne Belgique. After that she heads towards a packed festival Summer.
