Joanna Jakubas is a crossover vocalist, combining the world of pop with classical music. She graduated in Vocal Arts from the Manhattan School of Music in New York and in Advanced Vocal Performance from the Royal College of Music in London. She has just released her new album “My New Wings” which features the world’s most beloved songs in new arrangements. The album was recorded in London at AIR Studios Lyndhurst and at the iconic Abbey Road Studios. Crafted with a heart for every detail by an amazing production team, the album is of a very high quality. Jan A. P. Kaczmarek (Oscar winning composer for “Finding Neverland”) is the album’s music producer. The album was arranged and conducted by Nick Ingman, whose work as an arranger has accounted for 14 No. 1 singles and five double platinum albums in the UK. The album was recorded with the participation of the London Symphony Orchestra, one of the world’s leading orchestras, and the London Voices choir (known for the “Lord of the Rings and “Harry Potter” series). The sound engineer, Simon Rhodes, is a 4 x Grammy Awards winner. He has worked with James Horner on over 40 projects. The mastering engineer, Simon Gibson, is one of the world’s leading audio restoration and mastering experts.
