Noxa is an Indonesian grindcore band from Jakarta, formed in March 2002 by the drummer Robin Hutagaol and the guitarist Ade Himernio Adnis. The band initially performed cover versions of songs by bands such as Nasum and Napalm Death before releasing its self-titled debut album, Noxa, in August 2003 via Noxa Records. This release was followed by a series of performances in Malaysia and Singapore. The group issued its second album, Grind Viruses, in October 2006, which featured lyrical contributions from Keijo Niinimaa of the Finnish band Rotten Sound. Following Hutagaol's death in a motorcycle accident in January 2009, Alvin Eka Putra joined the ensemble as the drummer. The band’s third album, Legacy, was released in July 2011 through Off The Records and featured drum tracks recorded by Hutagaol prior to his death. The original vocalist, Tonny Christian Pangemanan, left the group in September 2019 and died in November 2020. Diego Shefa Dila Negara was introduced as the band's vocalist in December 2019.
