Madison Violet is a Canadian music duo composed of singer-songwriters Brenley MacEachern and Lisa MacIsaac. Formed in Toronto in the late 1990s, they released their debut album Mad Violet independently in 2002. Their breakthrough came with Worry The Jury in 2004, followed by albums Caravan (2006) and No Fool for Trying (2009), which received a Juno nomination for Roots/Traditional Album of the Year in 2010. In 2013, they released a live album titled Come As You Are: Live. In 2015, they released "These Ships (Matt James Remix)" under Ultra Records. Their album, The Year of the Horse, was released in 2016.
