Frazey Obadiah Ford, known professionally as Frazey Ford, was born on February 11, 1973, in Canada. She is a singer and songwriter who began her musical journey in the 1990s when she met future bandmates Sam Parton and Trish Klein in Nelson, British Columbia. Together, they formed The Be Good Tanyas, a folk trio known for their blend of old-time music. Ford's solo career commenced after the band took a hiatus in 2008. Her debut album, Obadiah, released in 2010, showcased her unique fusion of folk, soft jazz, and soul, drawing influences from artists like Al Green, Neil Young, and Bob Dylan.
