Radio Massacre International is a British electronic ensemble from London. The group consists of the musicians Steve Dinsdale, Duncan Goddard, and Gary Houghton. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by improvisational electronic music utilizing vintage synthesizers and the Mellotron. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for its origins in the group DAS which recorded unreleased material between 1979 and 1987. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Frozen North (1995) released on the label Centaur. Radio Massacre International achieved professional recognition for performing on the television program MTV's Party Zone in 1996. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for being the first electronic musicians to perform at the Jodrell Bank Observatory in 1996. Their discography included the live recording Knutsford in May (1997) and the studio recording Emissaries (2005) released on the label Cuneiform Records. The recording Emissaries featured a comic-strip story by the artist Matt Howarth. Their recording career included the compilation recording Lost in Space (2006) and the studio recording Rain Falls in Grey (2007). The ensemble achieved professional recognition for performing with the musician Damo Suzuki in 2004.
