Marc Soucy

Marc Soucy is a composer, producer, and recording artist creating original instrumental music built around ideas rather than genres. Inspired by culture, history, discovery, transformation, and imagination, his compositions unfold through evolving themes, emotional progression, and a continual sense of movement.

Drawing freely from orchestral, electronic, jazz, progressive, Americana, global, and other influences, Soucy approaches each composition as its own musical world. His work ranges from atmospheric and introspective pieces to expansive, rhythmically driven compositions, unified by thematic development and transformation rather than a single stylistic identity.

A lifelong musician and keyboardist, Soucy performs and programs the vast majority of his music himself, bringing decades of performance, composition, and studio production experience to his work. His catalog also includes restored live recordings from Antartica, the progressive fusion trio he formed in the early 1980s.
