The Original Barn Finds were formed in Somerset, UK in 2017 by cousins Chris Brown (banjo) and Rich Brown (guitars, backing vocals), along with Trevor Fox (violin, mandolin and backing vocals), Nick Pratt (lead vocals) and Troy Wells (bass). Their music has been described as a foot-stomping mix of bluegrass, country, folk and blues rock.
