Zach John King (born Zachary John King on March 25, 1997) is an American country singer-songwriter from Fayeteville, Georgia. Born into a family of poets, he naturally turned to songwriting and became interested in country music after growing up in a varied musical universe ranging from soul to alternative rock. A singer in an indie rock band during his university years, he moved to Nashville in 2021 and honed his country style, tinged with folk, pop and rock. After his first single, "Just Missed You"(2023), he followed this up with the viral success of "Wannabe Cowboy" (2024) and signed with Sony Music Nashville, who released the Slow Down EP (2025), whose title track racked up millions of listens on streaming platforms. In 2026, his single "Get to Drinkin'" reaches #49 on the Top 60 Radio Country Songs chart.
