MegaBosch, a German post-apocalyptic rock group formed in 2009 in the Hannover area, originated as an end‑time LARP project with founding members General PAUSE and General MIDI. Their first public appearance came in 2012 at the Role Play Convention in Cologne, after which they were booked for Wacken Open Air 2013, where a custom stage of rusted containers showcased the band’s aesthetic. Their 2013 album 2000 Watt was self‑produced, followed by the live DVD MegaBosch LIVE in Wacken 2014 (2014) and the 2022 album Die Rockstars der Apokalypse.
