Tommaso Scalici's musical journey began long before he ever picked up a guitar. Born in Palermo, Italy (July 1991), his earliest sonic inspirations were found in the captivating soundtracks of '90s and 2000s video games, with the work of composers like Toby Fox, Nobuo Uematsu, Hitoshi Sakimoto, Junichi Masuda, Shoji Meguro and many others leaving a lasting mark.
This foundation later collided with the discovery of progressive rock and metal titans such as Dream Theater, Opeth, Haken, Symphony X, The Algorithm, Muse, Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson igniting a passion that would define his artistic path.
Inspired to create, Tommaso embraced the guitar as his primary tool for composition. As a software developer, his analytical mind found a new home in the world of music production. He dove headfirst into sound engineering, mixing, and mastering to maintain complete control over his artistic vision. Today, his music is a testament to his eclectic influences — a dynamic fusion of intricate riffs, atmospheric arrangements, and a constant desire to experiment, whether through 100% original compositions or by leveraging AI-assisted tools to push creative boundaries.
