Qualité Motel is a Canadian musical group from Sherbrooke, Quebec. Formed as an electronic music side project of Misteur Valaire, Qualité Motel was created to allow the quintet to perform in smaller venues and unconventional spaces. Their debut album, Motel Califorña, was released on April 2, 2012, featuring collaborations with notable artists such as Stefie Shock, Mitsou, Grand Analog, Yann Perreau, and Fanny Bloom. On November 2, 2018, the group released their second album, C'est pas la qualité qui compte, which included contributions from Lex, Simon Proulx of Les Trois Accords, Sarahmée, and FouKi. The group was nominated for Album of the Year - Alternative at the Prix Félix in 2019.
