My debut EP ‘Bleeding Colours’ is out now ♡
Singer-songwriter inspired by folk music icons such as Damien Rice, Bon Iver, Daughter, and Phoebe Bridgers, Benni shapes her songs around a utopian yet deeply authentic universe that is entirely her own. Fascinating and unconventional, her voice captivates from the very first note and carries within it the power to transform painful stories into works of striking beauty.
Immersed in creativity since childhood, Benni remains an inherently introverted soul. Yet at the symbolic threshold of her 18th birthday, she decided to shatter the boundaries of her reality and give shape to the dreams she had long harbored. A life-changing choice followed: she set off alone on an adventure to New Zealand. On the other side of the world, she discovered herself over the course of 10 months—singing, laughing, crying, dancing, scaling and descending mountains, hitchhiking, sleeping in a car, and immersing herself in new cultures.
Her magnetic presence led her to open for artists such as Cœur de Pirate, November Ultra, and Clara Ysé, to step onto the stages of the Cirque Royal, the Botanique, and the Francofolies de Spa, and to feature in showcase festivals like Fifty Lab and We Are Open. Building on this journey, Benni unveiled her highly anticipated debut EP, Bleeding Colours, on [PIAS] Recordings.
