You new fav Emo/Metal Band
Seven Blood is more than just a band; it is a collective born out of personal crisis with the
goal of creating a soundtrack for healing. The quartet’s deeply personal songs narrate the
contrasting life stories of its members. There is guitarist Oli Arnold and drummer Anfy
Hartmann, who grew up in the former East German town of Suhl, where their childhood was
shaped by the steady decay of their hometown.
"Growing up in a ghost town played a bigger role than I ever thought" says Oli. Punk, metal, and emo became the soundtrack to their disillusionment until, at 18, they packed their bags and moved to Berlin to immerse themselves in a completely new music scene.
In Berlin, they met singer Azaria Nasiri, whose youth was also defined by a search for
belonging. As the daughter of Moroccan and Iranian parents, she struggled to find her place.
"I came from two very different cultural backgrounds and lived in a third, which always made
me feel like I was searching for a place to belong but never quite finding it,
" Azaria explains.
In the spring of 2023, Azaria, Oli, and Anfy came together—with bassist Josi Hille joining
later. Each of them stood at a personal and creative crossroads. The band became their
outlet for channeling pain into music. Their first single,
"Killing From The Inside,
" is the result
of this raw honesty, based on Azaria’s experiences with sociopathic behavior and her own
self-reflection.
Despite their short history, Seven Blood has already built an impressive live career. They
played their first show in 2024 supporting the US band Underoath. In their first year alone,
they completed two major European tours, supporting both Future Palace and the Spanish
metal band Ankor. The summer of 2025 marked the next milestone with major festival
appearances at Summer Breeze, Nexus Festival, and the Wacken Cruise, as well as tours
with US acts Kittie and Holy Wars.
Following the release of their debut album "Life Is Just a Phase" on November 21, 2025, the
band charged into 2026 with immense energy. Their first co-headlining tour across Europe
and the UK alongside the British band Lastelle in January 2026 was a triumphant success.
While the shows in Berlin, Cologne, and London were completely sold out, the dates in Paris
and Tilburg were exceptionally well-attended, underscoring the band's growing international
appeal.
Seven Blood creates a unique sound that blends heavy, riff-driven elements in the vein of
Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, and Paramore with more atmospheric tones reminiscent
of Fleetwood Mac and Boygenius. For them, it’s not just about how the music sounds, but
the emotion it evokes and the stories it tells. The band’s mission is to build a connection with
their fans based on honesty, respect, and a shared understanding of life's challenges.
