Christian Juncker is a Danish pop singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in Holstebro, Denmark, in 1975. He achieved early professional recognition in 1995 as a member of the band Bloom and is famous for his solo career under the mononym Juncker and for the track “Havana” (2014), which served as the theme for the television series Kurs mod fjerne kyster. His discography includes the studio recordings Snork City (2004), Det Sorthvide Hotel (2006), pt. (2007), and Noia Noia (2012). He also released the recording L’esprit de l’escalier 99-13 (2014) and represented his work in the Melodi Grand Prix 2022 with the single “Kommet for at blive”. Juncker has been signed to labels including Columbia Records, ArtPeople, and Target Records.
