Hip Hop in its truest form dwells in New Orleans and goes by the name of Paasky. He embodies the culture of hip hop from his appearance to his musical delivery. Born Rashad Kelly, Paasky grew up during the Cash Money era and is greatly inspired by their success. The reality that someone from New Orleans actually made it big is what gave Paasky the drive and passion to rap.
In a time where it seems everyone is rapping for a hustle, Paasky is true to the art and conscious of the messages he sends through lyrics. Since the release of his debut mix tape Suggested Retail in 2011, he's released 2 mix tapes a year while consistently delivering powerful punch lines and thought provoking metaphors laced with a slight east coast flair. Paasky has worked with notable artists such as Currensy, G-Eazy, Raj Smoove, Killa Kyleon, 3D Natee, Don Flamingo, Kourtney Heart, Jay Jones Nesby Phips, the super producers Flight School & Grammy Award winner Irvin Mayfield just to name a few. His talents supersedes underground and have allotted him the chance to open up for the likes of the legendary Slick Rick, Bun B, Rich Homie Quan, BIG K.R.I.T. and Big Sean just to name a few.
