TZU, an Australian hip-hop group formed in 1999 in Melbourne, consisted of Joel Ma (Joelistics), Corey McGregor (Yeroc), Phillip Norman (Seed MC and later Count Bounce), Shehab Tariq (Paso Bionic), and Dustin McLean (Duzy What), who joined in 2005. The group began as a side project blending hip-hop with rock, blues, jazz, and electronica. Their debut EP, Um... Just A Liddlbidova Mic Check, was released in 2001. TZU signed to Liberation Music and released their first album, Position Correction, in February 2004. The group's second studio album, Smiling at Strangers, produced by Magoo, reached the top 100 on the ARIA Albums Chart in 2005. Their third album, Computer Love, peaked at number 23 on the ARIA Charts in 2008 and was nominated for a J Award. TZU disbanded in 2013 after releasing their fourth studio album, Millions of Moments.
