President, a British band with a mysterious identity, made its debut in 2025 with the alternative metal/electronicore track “In the Name of the Father.” The song, released on May 15, 2025, on the King of Terrors label, appeared on several British charts during its first week of release, notably reaching No. 52 on the official singles sales chart. It was followed by “Fearless” in June, “Rage” in July, and “Destroy Me” in September. The members, who go by the stage names The President (vocals), Heist (guitar), Protest (bass), and Vice (drums), produced their first, eclectic EP, *King of Terrors*, which was released on September 26, 2025. After opening for Architects in Australia in late 2025 and then in Europe in early 2026, President signed with Atlantic Records and released “Angel Wings” in February 2026, followed by “Mercy” in March. The band then toured with Bad Omens and Beartooth in North American arenas and announced its first headlining continental tour, with 22 of the 26 dates selling out within twenty-four hours. The single “Doom Loop” was released in May and heralded the band’s debut album, while “Dark Heaven” followed in July.
