October Sky, a rock music group from Montreal, Canada, was formed in 2000 by vocalist Karl Raymond and drummer Alex Racine. The band's sound evolved with the addition of keyboardist Yanik Rouleau in 2004. The band released their first EP, October Sky, in 2006, and followed it up with their debut album, Hell Isn't My Home, in 2008. This album was well-received, earning three awards from Toronto's Exclusive Magazine and receiving radio play on over 20 commercial stations across Canada. Their video for "Hit the Ground" debuted at number 4 on MusiquePlus' Plus sur commande. In 2012, October Sky released their second studio album, The Aphotic Season.
