Celebrando ¡25 AÑOS! con el disco Track By Track gracias a TIGO
Viento en Contra, a rock group from Guatemala, was formed in 1993 when Francisco Cabrera and Javier Ortiz began rehearsing at Édgar Pereira's house. The band's initial lineup included Antonio Colom on bass, and they gave their first performance in a Guatemalan bar in 1996. Over the following years, Viento en Contra toured cities in Mexico and the United States, serving as opening acts for notable artists such as Juanes, Sin Bandera, Maná, and Ricardo Arjona. Tragically, Édgar Pereira passed away from an asthma attack in 2001, leading to the band's temporary disbandment. They resumed activities in 2005, releasing their fourth studio album Mala Fama. In 2009, they released Casino, promoted with the single "Tiembla el suelo".
