The Meir is a Dutch alternative pop-rock band blending atmospheric guitars, organic instrumentation, and emotionally driven songwriting. Formed around singer-songwriter Lars Zebregs, bassist and songwriter Bo Bodewitz, and producer Raf Jansen, the band creates music that balances intimacy with cinematic scope.
Their songs explore themes of freedom, identity, vulnerability, hope, and human connection, combining heartfelt melodies with dynamic arrangements and modern production. Joined by guitarist Jeroen Kraneveld and drummer Charl Dijkhoff, The Meir crafts a sound that moves effortlessly between alternative rock, indie, and alt-pop.
Their debut single FREE introduces the musical world of their upcoming twelve-track album INFINITE - a collection of songs that invites listeners to reflect, connect, and find their own meaning within the music.
