Horn is a German extreme metal band from Paderborn, founded in 2002 as a one-man project by musician Nerrath. Although Nerrath remains the central figure behind the project, guest musicians have contributed to its recordings, while live performances are supported by a dedicated band. Their early work drew heavily from pagan metal and classic black metal, but with a calmer and more atmospheric approach. They released several albums such as Seasons (2005), The Power of Scenarios (2006), and Naturkraft (2008). In 2007, Nerrath also founded the side project Licht erlischt …. Beginning with Distanz (2010), the band gradually moved toward a more traditional black metal sound and expanded its lyrical themes. The band's discography includes albums such as Konflikt (2013), Feldpost (2015), Turm am Hang (2017), Poppy Gang (2020), Verzet (2022), XX(20) (2023), Daudswiärk (2024), and Apocalypse 1618 (2026).
