Jon Fält, born on 28 August 1979 in Gävle, Sweden, is a Swedish jazz percussionist. Raised in Sandviken, Fält began his musical journey with Stefan Bergkvist at the Kulturskolan and later played in the Sandvik Small Band, with which he first recorded in 1994. He attended the Jazzgymnasium in Gävle and the Kungliga Musikhögskolan in Stockholm. Throughout his career, Fält has collaborated with notable artists such as Alberto Pinton, Bobo Stenson, Lina Nyberg, and Jon Vanderlander. In 2003, he released Silent Room with Nils Olmedal, Mats Äleklint, and Joakim Milder, as well as contributed to albums by Palle Danielsson, Anders Jormin, and Bobo Stenson Trio. In 2019, Fält became part of a trio with Norwegian double bassist & vocalist Ellen Andrea Wang and guitarist Rob Luft, releasing the album Closeness (2020).
