Fabrice Maxime Sylvain Morvan, known as Fab Morvan, was born on May 14, 1966, in Paris, France. He moved to Germany at age 18, and it was there that he worked as a dancer and model. He met Rob Pilatus in a Munich nightclub and formed the pop duo Milli Vanilli. The group gained international fame with their debut album Girl You Know It's True (1989), which featured hit singles "Girl You Know It's True", "Girl I'm Gonna Miss You", "Baby Don't Forget My Number" and "Blame It on the Rain". Milli Vanilli won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in February 1990, but the award was later withdrawn when it was revealed that Morvan and Pilatus had not sung on their recordings. In 2003, Morvan released his solo album Love Revolution.
