Cédric Hanriot is a French pianist, composer, and arranger born in Pont-à-Mousson. He studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston as a recipient of the Fulbright Scholars Program. Hanriot recorded keyboards, synthesizers, and sound design for the Dianne Reeves album Beautiful Life (2014), which received a Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album in 2015. His discography included the studio recordings French Stories (2011), Hyperion-City of Poets (2016) with Jason Palmer and Donny McCaslin, and Day (2018) with Franck Agulhon. He also released the recordings Piano Nocturnes (2020) and Time is Color (2022). Hanriot performed internationally with artists including Herbie Hancock, Terri Lyne Carrington, and John Patitucci. His musical style incorporated elements of jazz, hip-hop, and urban genres.
