“You’ve got the sweet air of trouble in your lungs, and I want to let it all out,” Daan yelps in War and the Coward. No Offense; tough sounds for anyone who cares to listen. Daan’s sharp sincere lyrics ride on a track of post-skate-punk and grungy hard rock.
The single Cougars & Cowards is a good taster for the band’s danceable, moshable tracks that feature in their live gigs and will soon be bundled on their first album.
In 2019 four friends Daan, Tom, Diederik and Stef met in Enkhuizen and have since been touring the North Holland live circuit. After some early recordings the band sets out a new course with their Winter 2023 single Cougars & Cowards. With 10 months of recording earlier in the year, No Offense’s first full-length album is anticipated in spring 2024.
