balans (formed in 2013, in Ljubljana) is a Slovenian art punk and post-punk group founded by Andrej Pervanje and Kristin Čona. The ensemble established a reputation for a sound blending Yugoslav punk with contemporary avant-garde approaches. Following self-released albums in 2015 and 2016, the band released their first physical album, Bunkerpop (2017), through ŠOP Records. In 2018, balans performed on the Radio Študent Club Marathon tour and released the album Kva je s tabo.... The group performed at the MENT Festival in 2019 before releasing the album A vam je jasno. In 2020, the ensemble released Sam pravm through KAPA Records, which received a nomination for the IMPALA European Independent Album of the Year Award. The single "Dežuje" reached number 3 in the RUNDA regional rankings in 2021. Following the collaborative album Ništaa (2022) with members of the Krava 22 label, the group released Nima smisla (2023). Their career included performances at Sexto 'Nplugged (2023) and the InMusic Festival (2025).
