Having found the soul of his music through his faith and religious upbringing, Dwight Dissels brings gospel into the TRIFECTA equation. After embarking on the scene with debut album ‘If I Had Not Believed’ in 2010, the Dutchman proved a mainstay in the scene, performing at a plethora of events. In 2011, he gave rise to the 1Heart project, through which he organizes multicultural, Christian, top-shelf gospel concerts.
In early 2017 - seven years after the release of his debut album and with countless shows under his belt - Dwight Dissels competed in the seventh season of ‘The Voice of Holland’, powering all the way through to the live shows. Later that year, he performed a cover of Andre Hazes’ ‘Kleine Jongen’ live on RTL Late Night and announced his desire and intent to dedicate himself fully to the music that has remained so close to his heart. The Dutch music scene ought to rejoice; Dwight Dissels is here to stay.
