Ricky Bishop is a rapper and sound engineer from Guadeloupe and Madagascar, originally from Bordeaux. He develops a hybrid style mixing bouyon, trap and electronic influences, while creating the concept of "audiocrack", a sonic approach he defines as addictive and immersive. He began his career with the RSC BÖRE collective and formed the Santa Bishop duo with Santa La Prince. In 2020, he co-founded Jeunes Visionnaires, a structure initiated by Twizzy Cinco and signed under license with the independent label 10000 HEURES, headed by 10KH. He gets closer to artists like Implaccable, Kaix, KiD EXOTIC, 102 Gang, as well as beatmakers like OT$BOY, with whom he collaborates on several projects. In the same year, he released five EPs, including two in collaboration with Prodbyswoosh and OT$BOY, as well as three solo mixtapes. In 2022, Ricky Bishop released the album "RAGE'n'B", fusing rage and R&B sounds. The following year, he released "BACKSTAGE". In 2024, he introduced "New Bouyon", a modern reinvention of traditional bouyon incorporating electro and trap elements. That year, he released the EPs "#newbouyon" and "#sexybouyon". The track "Anlè mwen" was a minor hit, confirming the growing interest in this new musical approach.
