Hailing from the 954 (Broward County, Florida) is an artist who sings with conviction and honesty within modern day romance all the while whose vocals puts you in the mind of 90s R&B/Soul music. “zenas.” is a singer/songwriter as well a music producer that understands that in order to be one of the greatest you have to put in the work required for such a title.
His interests come alive within his music, within his deeply melodic instrumentals it shows how his ear is not a stranger to other genres from classical to alternative rock. His songs contain an essence of narrative that comes from his fascination with story telling due to his love of Japanese animation (anime) and novel reading.
With experience working alongside indie artists as well as well known acts, his musical ability can adapt to whatever environment he chooses to explore. Pulling influences from modern day artists such as The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, James Fauntleroy, but paying homage to the old school, he sings of his experiences with love, lust, obsession, and heartbreak.
Even with this cliche approach, he writes, sings, and performs in a way that still makes him unique. His dream is for his music to serve as a form of therapy for his fans and that he could be recognized in the same breath as those that came before him, by just being himself.
There is many talent around South Florida, both discovered and unknown, and zenas. should definitely be considered a "hidden treasure".
