From the home of Mardi Gras, the French Quarter, and Bourbon Street, Nuthin But Fire Records brings us SESS 4-5, the next major rap artist out of the Big Easy. SESS 4-5 earned his moniker by mixing Success (SESS) and paying homage to his neighborhood, the 9th ward (4+5), which helps describe this hard-working artist. SESS 4-5 makes it known; he's not the type to take no for an answer. He will go exceptionally far from the low-income Desire Projects he got his hustle from through talent, consistency, and building great relationships.
SESS 4-5 started rapping career to decompress in high school with his friends. One summer, his childhood friend had a record placed in radio rotation, and that showed him anything was possible, so he kept pushing ahead. The great thing about coming from Louisiana is that there is no shortage of artists to inspire you. SESS 4-5 credits Mia X, Weebie, Fiend, Hot Boy Turk, and the gone but never forgotten legends Soulja Slim and Mr. Magic as a few of the artists he enjoyed and admired. The legendary producer, BlaqNMild, (Drake's "In My Feelings" and "Keke,") delivers the street's favorite, high energy, stack money record "Money Up," which is currently available on all major digital streaming sites.
Although SESS 4-5 is working on building "Money Up," he's already preparing his follow-up tracks "Dats Wassup" and "Gettin Dat Gwop." Success is a part of who he embodies, and these back-to-back releases are for a bigger purpose. SESS 4-5 planned it so that each song and video leads to the next vibe of his "Hustle God" wave. "Hustle God" is his forthcoming album and brings us stories of your everyday dream chaser, slated to drop in the 4th quarter. SESS 4-5 already feels like it's long overdue. His time is now. So, if you love great music and dope visuals, hop on the "Hustle God" wave and allow us to introduce you to a man that won't stop…the Success from the 9th ward, SESS 4-5.
