Tareq Abu Kwaik, known professionally as الفرعي (El Far3i), is a Jordanian Palestinian rapper, singer, songwriter, and drummer, born in 1983. He began his solo career in Amman around 2008, performing original acoustic and rap songs in local venues while recording his first full-length album. In 2012, he released two albums: the debut acoustic record صوت من الخشب and the Arabic rap album فرع المداخل. The following year, he collaborated with Jordanian producer Damar on سقف المطالب, which featured samples of various Arabic music. In 2017, El Far3i released الرجل الخشبي, an acoustic album that included the popular single "تغيّرتي". He continued his alternating pattern between rap and acoustic albums, لازم تسعة in 2021, and ناس من خشب in 2022.
