Alfah Femmes is a DIY sextet from Tricity, Poland — the California of Central Europe — led by a relentless Polish-American front-woman, who left behind an acting career in New York City to return to her melancholic yet promising homeland, a place brimming with potential but marked by perpetual uncertainty.
In 2020, the band built a life-sized purple house for the cover of their debut LP album, No Need to Die, released on vinyl.
In 2021, they released a cassette tape EP, titled I Wouldn't Bother.
In 2022, they played festivals, including Reeperbahn in Germany and Budapest Showcase Hub in Hungary.
In 2023, they were shortlisted for SXSW and almost broke up.
In 2024, having learned nothing from their past mistakes, they recorded a sophomore album, and decided to release it on an NFC mini CD in 2025.
