Dan Byrne is a Liverpool-born rock vocalist and songwriter whose early career was tied to the city’s hard rock scene before he moved into a solo path. In 2018, he joined members of Black Cat Bones to form Revival Black, a Liverpool band rooted in classic rock, blues-rock and hard rock. With Dan Byrne on lead vocals, the group released the debut album Step in Line in 2019, followed by the lockdown live release Live in Your Lounge in 2020 and the second studio album Under the Light in 2022, which included singles such as "Believe," "Take You Out," "See You Again," "Broken Home" and "Hemispheres." Dan Byrne left Revival Black shortly after Under the Light and began shaping his own material. In 2023, he introduced his solo career with the EP Beginnings, built around "Death of Me," "Like Animals," "Easier" and "Hard to Breathe," and then formed a touring band around the project. After several UK tours and support from Planet Rock, he signed with Frontiers Records. In 2025, Dan Byrne issued the single "Saviour," followed by the Frontiers edition of Beginnings and the single "Sentimental." In 2026, he released his debut solo album This Is Where the Show Begins, a ten-track hard rock record that reached number 5 on the UK's Albums Download Official Chart.
