Desmond Cheese - The pungent product of a long term collaboration between Andrew McKinnon, Desmond Bagely and more recently Rohan Seekers and Damien Vincent.
The crew received recognition following the release of their debut album Fame and Fortune in 2010. They remain relatively reclusive, rarely giving interviews or performing live outside of their hometown Brisbane.
They make instrumental, experimental, expansive, earthly music. It incorporates elements such as, hip hop, blues, soul and jazz. Made using analogue production methods, lo-fi beats, synthesis, experimental effects and eclectic samples from nature and pop culture.
In 2014 their song Polyfizzal Drizzal was used by WILLOW Smith as the backing track for her song Flowers, released on Roc Nation Records.
They still continue their experiments in sound, slowly releasing material as it emerges from the ether.
