Angharad Davies (born 1972) was a Welsh violinist and composer from Aberystwyth. Known for her work in free improvisation and the use of prepared violin, Davies grew up playing in brass bands before studying at the Royal Northern College of Music and with violinists Charles-André Linale and Howard Davis. She began her recording career in 1999 with the trio Cranc. Davies collaborated on improvised projects with artists including Tarek Atoui and Tony Conrad. Her discography included the albums Endspace (2007), AD (2008), and ffansion | fancies (2016). In 2015, Éliane Radigue composed the solo work OCCAM XXI for her. Davies' own compositions included "Solo Violin and Four Bass Amps" and the orchestral piece "I ble’r aeth y gwrachod I gyd…?" (2019). A member of the ensemble Apartment House, she appeared on Richard Dawson’s album Peasant (2017) and recorded over 50 albums during her career.
