Doctor Krapula is one of the most important and influential rock bands in Latin America, a powerful blend of punk, cumbia, ska, hip hop and reggae, combined with social and environmental lyrical stance. It is a massive and independent band with 25 years of history, more than 700 concerts in 20 countries, 10 studio albums, 3 EPs and a live DVD. They have led and collaborated in several musical and social projects with artists such as Manu Chao, Ska-p, SEEED, Juanes, Café Tacvba, Celso Piña, among others.
Recently, Doctor Krapula has positioned itself as one of the most impressive and unmissable shows, because of their quality and explosive musical staging. Their shows impose from the beginning until the end euphoria, dancing and collective singing.
In his career, Doctor Krapula has traveled a large part of the world, countries such as Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina, Mexico, Costa Rica, United States, Spain, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria they have been part of his tours.

The love of their fans and their independent work all around the world have earned them more than 17 Shock Music Awards, 5 nominations to the Latin Grammy Awards, 4 Nuestra Tierra Awards, 3 nominations to the MTV Latin American Awards, 1 nomination to the 40 principales Spain, and they got several recognitions from the massive and specialized press, because of all the social actions and the music they have created.
They are creators of the International Festival Viva el Planeta in 2012, a festival in favor of the environment and the rights of nature. There are already 10 versions of the festival, achieving an impact in cities such as Bogotá, Medellín, Cali and the municipality of Duitama and Chiscas in Boyacá. Thanks to the continuity and the participation of great artists, the festival is emerging as one of the most important Colombian platforms for the exhibition of emerging proposals. The Festival led by the Doctor Krápula group, who were awarded the Simón Bolívar order in recognition of their environmental activism, is a space that shows the different actions that are carried out in the country regarding this issue. From planting trees to talks, walks and a large number of activities that join the framework of the festival making it unique in its country.
