Roger David, known professionally as Bohemia, was born on October 15, 1979, in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. He moved to the United States at age 13 and began his music career in Oakland, California, collaborating with hip-hop producer Sha One. His debut album Vich Pardesan De (2002) was an autobiographical account of his life as a young immigrant adapting to the streets of America. In 2006, he released Pesa Nasha Pyar, the first full-length Punjabi rap album by a major label, featuring Snoop Dogg and achieving significant chart success in India. Bohemia signed with Universal Music Group and later Sony Music India, releasing albums like Da Rap Star (2009) and Thousand Thoughts (2012). He performed at Coke Studio Pakistan and collaborated with artists such as Sonu Kakkar and Sean Kingston.
