'Electric Heat Hypnotized' EP out Sept. 14!
Endless Forms producer and writer Justin Allen has always been in search of something sincere and expansive. Allen began Endless Forms in 2015 with the release of 'Lazarus' — a meditative and searching album self-recorded in Allen’s home. Endless Forms’ following albums, 2017’s 'If There Were Water' and 2020’s 'More Than Candy,' both fully produced and engineered by Allen, saw Endless Forms’ sound pull slightly more from the ethereal influences of shoegaze and dreampop, evolving into something larger in scope and subtler in execution, including art performances in collaboration with Living Arts of Tulsa and Philbrook Museum of Art.
2022’s 'Electric Heat Hypnotized EP' aims to function like a small album that still contains a complete emotional arc — a shorter format with songs that all cohesively belong to each other. 'Electric Heat Hypnotized' explores the tension of the artist’s search for the sublime ideal — sometimes neglecting the imperfect but real world on a quest to fulfill some ultimate longing for something forever just barely out of reach.
