Since their inception around drummer Konsta Vihavainen, guitarist Niko Lappalainen, bassist Joonas Peltonen and singer Aatu Kovanen in 2013, the band has developed a sound that is both unique and unforgettable, fusing death metal, progressive metal, and deathcore with black metal, symphonic metal, and electronic music.
Their early releases gave fans a glimpse into what was to come, with their sound steadily evolving into something darker and more sinister. After the departure of KBTD's vocalist Kovanen in 2022, Markus Raito took over as their new vocalist. Raito has brought a new dimension to Kneel Before The Death's sound, marking a new chapter in the band's story, as they continue to push and bend the boundaries of extreme metal.
