Isaiah Collier, born in 1998, is an American jazz musician. Growing up in a musical family, Collier began his journey with music by singing in a parish choir and playing piano and flute before transitioning to saxophone at age 11. His early training included lessons from a pastor who formed a jazz group specifically for him. Collier attended the Chicago Arts High School and later studied at the Brubeck Institute in Stockton, California. He began his career performing with Die Stadtmusikanten and later joined Ernest Dawkins' Young Masters Quartet. In 2019, Collier released his debut album Return of the Black Emperor with Isaiah Collier & The Chosen Few. Notable releases include Cosmic Transition (Division 81) in 2020 and Parallel Universe in 2023. He has collaborated with artists such as Angel Bat Davis and Kahil El'Zabar, and has been nominated for the Grammy Awards.
